Blockade - pixel overlay tool

Blockade hides an image or video behind a grid of two-color blocks, with a round clear zone that shows what’s underneath. You set the block size, colors, and motion, drag the clear zone around, and paint blocks away with a brush. With a video, you trim it to the part you want and crossfade its end into its start, so it loops without a jump. It exports PNG and JPG stills, and MP4, WebM, and GIF loops. Try it here. Inspired by Yianni’s Figma blocks plugin.
